Thanks both for the replies.
I can understand how you feel about the Mac platform, Bill. I'm not keen myself, and if it is to be supported for FDE/Hidden OS should be a lower priority than Debian. I'm surprised that the Hidden OS was never developed for Debian by the original devs... surely the philosophy of TC being free and open source marries perfectly with Linux? Then there's the inherent security benefits and system stability. There's probably more to it than meets the eye, but as has already been mentioned, Linux supports FDE OTB. Anyway.. good to know that the idea is not being dismissed. I realize that these things don't happen over night, but it would be great to see this in the pipeline/on a road map.
Slightly off topic but also just wanted to say: I really appreciate the work that is being undertaken by this community. TC is a one of a kind resource that "must not die" as stated. I nearly crapped a brick when I saw the update to the TC.com site, it's great to know that it's not the end, and furthermore there is an active future.
