I can no longer mount my Veracrypt encrypted USB. When I try to, I get one of two error messages. Either:
hdiutil: attach failed - no mountable file systems when I try to mount the hidden volume OR this one when I try to mount the outer volume:
Operation failed due to one or more of the following:
-Incorrect Volume PIM number
-Incorrect PRF (hash)
-Not a valid volume
What I think happened is that I filled the outer volume with more gb of storage than was partitioned for. I never had a problem opening the outer volume, but when I went to open the hidden volume, it must have been corrupted or something with the outer volume files taking up space leading into the hidden volume.
Does anyone know a solution how I can open the disk and try to recover my files? Tried on both mac and pc and as read only, but nothing has worked so far.
